Trend Outlook Spring Summer 2012
Goodbye Sales and passed season clothes.
This month in London we celebrate another Fashion Week for Autumn/Winter 2012.
This is a time when I like to pass on information that you can incorporate into your 2012 wardrobe wholly this year, mixing and matching up the 2 seasons.
It’s Crash and Burn Time.
CREATIVE CLASH
If you are the creative sort, then I’m sure you’ll love being bold and creative with your wardrobe this year adding a touch of quirkiness of course to suit you personally.
Jackets, blouses, skirts, dresses, trouser and short suits are all fashionable news for you to mis-match.
EMBELLISHMENT
My favourite trend is ‘embellishment’, adds glitz and glamour to everyday dripping with embellished beads, sequins and tasseled trims as seen on the ‘Gucci’ catwalk.
CROP TOP TREND
Why not enjoy wearing one of the main fashion trends this year….Cropped and bra tops combined with shorts or a mini skirt/suit. If you don’t want to show too much skin then opt for high-waist or a ‘bustier’.

SPORTY
This is said to be the most liked out of all the trends so whilst you’re spectating at 2012 Olympics you’ll at least feel ‘sporty’!
COLOUR PALETTES
London compared to the US and Europe saw the most of the pastel shades like aquatic green and pastel pink
Think about Mid-blues, strong reds and mustard yellows.
TEXTURE
Colour, leather, studs and beads of an assortment of look-like-a-like sweets embellished on a top or dress….any amount of detail making a difference to something plain and classical….you’ll look good enough to eat!
To save money walk into a haberdashery store today and find your inner creativity.
PRINTS
I personally am not to struck on the fruit and vegetable themes that saw Dolce & Gabbana and Prada – are you wearing the ‘RETRO’ vibe? I don’t think the humorous and ladylike together works and I generally like a bit of quirkiness. However I love the shiny retro symmetrical prints seen on say a 1950′s style dress bringing 2012 character to your wardrobe.
FABRICS
